Update on Another Wise County Minister Busted! - John McCarroll and the Glory Hole?

The pastor of a church near Coeburn has been arrested in Kingsport, Tenn., for allegedly exposing himself to an undercover police officer in a park restroom.
According to Kingsport Police Department records, John Franklin McCarroll, 65, of 2306 East 1st St., Big Stone Gap, was arrested Wednesday and charged with indecent exposure.
The offense report states that at around 1 p.m. that day, detectives of the Kingsport vice division were “investigating lewd acts” in the restrooms at Riverfront Park on Netherland Inn Road.
A male detective went inside the restrooms, and a man later identified as McCarroll was inside, the report states.
The detective was “standing in a stall area, and he observed a p—-s appearing through a hole in the wall that separates the stalls,” according to the report.
The detective then arrested McCarroll, who was later released on bond.
Vice division officers could not be reached Thursday for further comments on the case.
McCarroll is pastor at Trinity Life Center Church, located on U.S. 58A between Norton and Coeburn.
McCarroll could not be reached for comment but his son disputed the police allegation.
“He is just flat out being victimized,” son John C. McCarroll said Thursday. He added that his father was advised by his attorney to make no comment at this time.
The guy who got caught bopping the bishop pastered a church called Trinity Methodist and this guys church is Trinity Life Center?

I think I'd have to kick the crap out of that weiner before I called the cops.
I am so glad that this man who is suppost to be leading people to God has been revealed to the church for the person he really is. I have known about him being gay for a long time. This man is very sick and needs help. The sad thing is his wife & family don't even believe it.
I dont know what is up with these local ministers...the past couple years there have been a bunch of them busted.
just amazing...think abt it like this...someone in the stall next to you says why don't you put your penis through that hole...any normal person wld have said a few words and left the bathroom and called 911...you wldn't have done it!!!!!so what on earth possessed to do just that...maybe the devil!!!!!!!!!!! anything done in darkness will eventually come to light...never fails.....
Some people say that he is just a man and no different from any man but I disagree. He is a man that is in charge of leading us in the name of God and teaching our children morality. Him and other church leaders have to be held to a higher standard than the run of the mill sinner. What if your daughter's elementary school teacher were masterbating behind his desk while sitting in the classroom looking at your her. Would you be so quick to forgive?
Why is everyone putting him down so much. He is a man just because he is a preacher he is not perfect. Jesus is the only man that I know that is perfect. Everybody makes mistakes. Get over it if he really did what they are saying, then you need to quit talking about him and get on your knees and pray for him. The funny thing is that God will forgive him and already has if he has asked him to. But people will talk about him for years down the road. They will never let anyone forget what he done. I think that all of you need to be praying for you own salvation, because if you really were men and women of God you would not be discussing something that you know nothing about. God is the only one that really knows what happened. Do you people really think that Jesus would be on here putting him down. No He would be saying you made a mistake but I still love you. Everyone just needs to make sure that their own life is right before they start judging someone else.

I attended McCarroll's church whenever I was 6-12 years old. I just now looked at the Trinity Life Center website and the pictures of all the happy youth members. Quite frankly, I'm not worried about McCarroll's reputation because he's made his own bed but I do feel deeply sorry for all the youth members of the congregation. Any man or woman who accepts an authoritative position should know that they will be under the microscope and in his case, like anonymous (3:58) says, "held to a higher standard than the run of the mill sinner." I say public apology, not like that's going to ease the mind of these children.
How did they identify it was him? Did they call up a sketch artist and describe him exposing himself? LOL
People hide behind everything. Maybe he married to use her as a cover up and preached to have access to more men.
BUT BE SURE, YOUR SINS WILL FIND YOU OUT!
Everybody has opinions about this matter. What he done is wrong and there is no room for interpretation. A man can't accidently insert his penis through a hole for another man to to perform oral sex on it. It had to be planned and it seems unlikely that it was his first time. Some bloggers suggest that we should forgive but it is not up to us to forgive so the point is mute. Isn't homosexulality comdemed in the bible? If he has those inclinations, he should have given up his pastors position so the members of his church wouldn't feel betrayed. Regardless of the outcome of the trial, I have a feeling that his life will never be the same.
People really need to learn how to spell.
This is really a sad time for this family and church. Yes he should hold a higher standard but he is a man just like everyone else. THe only thing that really bothers a lot of people and are amking them angry is the fact that he is not going to pleasd guilty and confess that this was wrong. He is doing his church and the family much more harm by trying to get out of it. Yes there are many who know the truth as many men have been with him. These are men that probably do not go to church ans some may not even be christians. This is the sad part just thinking he is trying to hide behind the cross. It would be very damaging for him to confess abd tell the truth but much more damaging for him to try to cover it up. If he does then that is when it will all break loose. It will come out. His family needs many prayers also. They are and will be affected for a lifestime as well as all those men who are angy with this cover up. God can and will forgive. At least that is what I have been told all my life and actually believe.
