Jeff Frederick Gets Caught Lying? - You Wanted the Dirt and Now You Got It - GREED
The AP broke the 10 charges against Jeff. Needless to say everything many of us were hearing appears to be true. I told you it was ugly and a MESS. Most troubling to me is this charge
1. Failure to transmit, in a timely manner, online contributions made to the Republican Party of Virginia and processed by his own company. Withholding 7% of online contributions made to the RPV for a period of weeks during the summer of 2008 after repeatedly assuring the Executive Committee that he was not using his company as a vendor for RPV.
Jeff Frederick said that was untrue - “false and without merit.”........Well JR at Bearing Drift offers up some very damning evidence.
"Of note is this FEC form obtained by Bearing Drift is a payment from RPV of $1384 in October 2008 to “ChargedContribution.com”. This site is managed by Gen-X Strategies - Frederick’s firm."
Is this not the same shady bullshit that plagued our past leaders? The same BS that led many of us to support Frederick last year only to get slapped in the face with it again.
Is the above act illegal? I am not a lawyer but I have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express long enough to know it is some shady unethical BS. If Frederick is dumb enough to do this and not understand the ethical problems it presents then he dang sure needs to be removed. I don't see how anyone can now argue that he remain chairman...Or that he can be an effective leader. What a embarrassment to our party. I supported him on the blog last year, but never again. Until we purge the party of this type of behavior we will never unite and win. What a shame it had to come to this. The SCC gave Jeff ample time to resign. He chose this spotlight to shine on himself and unfortunately the party. It is no wonder McDonnell and the GOP Caucus wanted to distant themselves from Jeff.
Illegal or legal I dont know. Greedy, dishonest, and plain stupid is there for all to see. Frederick must be removed.

I dont say he stole, I say he lied about running money through his company. Very very unethical and with all due respect James..VERY STUPID.
My family has a small biz. If a employee was "untimely" with turning in the profits he would be fired in a heartbeat.
Why should he have held the money for any reason? If I am wrong, please explain it to me. I am a reasonable man and my ears are open.

Did you read malfeasance in the charge or untimely?
If he committed malfeasance, then why wasn't something done on the spot - as you would do to your employee? Unless, of course, it wasn't malfeasance after all - but just untimely. Tardy, but truthful.
If he actually stole, then why wasn't evidence turned over to the appropriate Commonwealth's Attorney months and months ago.
James, I supported Jeff but I honestly think this has went way to far for healing.
I don't believe he stole money because they would have filed charges. I do know he stated he did not steer money to his business and yet there is a FEC document showing that he in fact did.
Don't you for one minute think I am naive...I have plenty to say about the conduct of the SCC...Not to mention the irony in the fact that we all know the chairman has to much power and the SCC are the only ones that can change that. The current structure is an invite for trouble. You know it is like giving me a cigar then complaining that I smoked it.
I hope you can find out the details and Jeff can present evidence that will clear his name. I really dont see how he can with that FEC document out there.
In the end we are still faced with the question I have asked since this started- After all this mess Can Frederick be a effective leader?
First things first. Has there been a hanging offense? Is there a fair play process working to determine guilt or innocence?
Then, if innocent, should the committee take it upon itself to overturn a convention for better efficiency? Or should all the district chairs who can't follow very well resign?
JAB, I really really thought you were a sensible conservative, but your continued buy-in to this weasel makes me wonder about your judgement. I absolutely am not against real conservative leadership. It is just painfully obvious that Frederick provides neither real conservatism or real leadership. He must go. Now.

I'm asking reasonable people to be reasonable, fair - above board and honest.

JAB, I'm sorry but I have a hard time controlling myself when faced with weasely hypocrites like Frederick. He's a stain on the cloth of true conservatism.
