Headline - "Doctor tells Obama supporters: Go elsewhere for health care"

Very interesting story.

A doctor who considers the national health-care overhaul to be bad medicine for the country posted a sign on his office door telling patients who voted for President Barack Obama to seek care "elsewhere."
"I'm not turning anybody away — that would be unethical," Dr. Jack Cassell, 56, a Mount Dora urologist and a registered Republican opposed to the health plan, told the Orlando Sentinel on Thursday. "But if they read the sign and turn the other way, so be it."
The sign reads: "If you voted for Obama … seek urologic care elsewhere. Changes to your healthcare begin right now, not in four years." Link

My Doctor works out of a clinic. They accept insurance and they also accept the uninsured. "You will not be turned away based on your ability to pay" the sign says. They also see patients on the "sliding scale" That makes the amount you pay is based on your income. I was there Monday and we talked about that. The fear is that if they lose the Federal funding, and there is a great chance they will, the sliding scale will end. I pray that does not happen, but I am told the new Obamacare will do just that. I know that sliding scale enables many folks access to healthcare. The poor can be treated for as little as $10 a visit. In other words, you can see a doctor 12 times a year(once a month) for $120. Will being forced to buy insurance be cheaper? I doubt it.

So please explain to me how this Obamacare will help the ones needing medical care the most see a doctor any cheaper?
