Dear Jeff:
As fellow conservative grassroots Republican leaders, we join the
congressional delegation, our gubernatorial nominee, the General
Assembly leadership, ¾ of our elected state central representatives
and our fellow Republican county chairs in urging you to resign as
chairman of the Republican Party of Virginia. For the sake of party

the proper course of action. There is much to be done in the coming weeks and months, and we
believe this is the right time for new leadership.Sincerely,

These few souls were also eager to see Bush trash the Constitution and destroy our civil liberties, so that they could pretend that they were "safe." Now, these and some others would rather return to the days of backroom deals rather than open competition for GOP nominations, so they might have the illusion of, "party unity."
Jeff Frederick inherited a real mess, including a really lousy state-wide slate, most of which was preordained by some of the party insiders who are trying to oust him.
Jeff's work is beginning to show positive results, but his team will need at least two election cycles, and a crop of fresh candidates; Men who propose honest solutions to our challenges and not rely on the smear tactics and fear mongering, popular with Nixonian Republicans like McDonnell and Bolling.
Jeff Frederick is the face of a more open, honest and responsive Republican Party and he has both the Left and the old backroom Republicans scared stiff.

Frederick's only accomplishment so far is a 20,000 dollar website. He needs to go as do many SCC members.
Anon,
I agree with half of your statement. A great number of the SCC should go.
