The Bristol Herald Courier is in trouble. Kathy Still left a few months ago, now Andrea Hopkin's is leaving also-Bidding Farewell To One Career To Pursue Another. Good luck in her new career pursuit.
The writing is on the wall for the BHC. Circulation is falling. The BHC paper boxes that lined the roads for years are now disappearing and being replaced by Kingsport Times boxes. The BHC will continue to lose local readership. The reason is J Todd Foster. With any luck, the powers that be will get rid of him. When they do, circulation will again grow.

post a commentWe also had that problem with Foster when he was here in the valley. He was not fair to us and went after our chairmen relentlessly and just was not a nice man at all!
The BHC has not had much of a paper for several years. I can read through the entire paper in a bout 15 minutes. I don't even bother getting a paper because the only thing i use the paper for is to check obituaries and I can do that online. It's getting to the point where the BHC is not even worth lining a bird cage.
J. Todd Foster and Michale Owens are both Yellow journalists and should be working for the National Enquirer not a local paper, they are scum. Wake up media general before they drag your 91 millon dollar purchase down the drain with them.
