More on John Brownlee
Chris at Bearing Drift has a wonderful post about John Brownlee.
"John’s speech set forth what looks to be the framework for his campaign. His “Justice for All” platform establishes his experience as a prosecutor as the primary factor that distinguishes him from his competition. It addresses public safety issues from cradle to grave, and beyond, and establishes Brownlee’s experience in dealing with these issues. Further, John pointed out the similarities between running a U.S Attorney’s office and running the AG’s office, which goes beyond just prosecuting cases. In addition, John expressed how his conservative values shaped his choices both in the Military and as an Attorney and how they would continue to do so in the Attorney General’s office."
Indeed. I've never witnessed a candidate come out of the gate so strong on the issues. It is clear where Brownlee stands. Visit his website here and get to know his platform. I think we will be hearing a lot more about him for sometime. That my friends is a good thing!

I don't want a prosecutor as Attorney General. I want a defender of the Constitution and advocate for the citizens.
Jim Gilmore was a prosecutor, and he has retained that same grating attitude toward the People, ever since. That is the chief reason I do not want him as our Senator.
With the AG choice limited on the Republican side to either Brownlee or Cuccinelli, most libertarian oriented Republicans don't see much of a difference. Both are Bush sycophants.
Who are the Socialist-Democrats offering? Will neither party provide any Champions of the Constitution and Liberty, in the race for the three statewide offices?
Brownlee will get my support.

That is a prosecutor dumb ass.
