Africa took part in the slavery of black people. Read a history book. Barack Obama associates with Anti-Americans. So if he is gonna make the argument that McCain is guilty by his association with Bush then we should hold that guilt by association also works against Obama. This means that it is not unreasonable to assume that Obama is anti-american. It's not a difficult formula to compute. Why are people electing a man to lead America when he is arguably anti-american?

First off - America wasn't the first or the last place that used slaves.
Anon- Were you a slave? How about your parents? How about the parents of those parents? I think it is time for African Americans to stop acting out the "hurt wing" syndrome. Where 'white' man is always out to get him/her or hurt him/her. There are plenty of African Americans who have made very successfully lives for themselves and they did not do it by crying and bellyaching that their skin was darker than someone else.
Now - yes, slavery is indeed a bad thing. No one is arguing that. However - it is time to move on, you can't put blame on people who were not even around during the slavery.
