NASCAR - Virginia Style
Yesterdays Goody's Cool Orange 500 at Martinsville Speedway was a good one. Virginia native Denny Hamlin won the race. My favorite driver Jeff Burton, also a Virginia native finished third. Burton moved on top of the points standings holding a 39 point lead over his team mate Kevin Harvick.
Did anyone else notice the large number of empty seats yesterday? Martinsville is worth the trip for the Hot Dogs alone.

post a commentI watched that one, too! Hamlin is my driver. While he is very good, he was lucky he won after pitting when he shouldn't have!
I like Burton, too. Glad to see Virginia boys do well, esp. at home :-)
