Duncan Hunter-The Right Stuff Express
Hunter today kicked off his "Right Stuff Express" tour of South Carolina with perhaps the most popular supporter of his presidential campaign, Gen. Chuck Yeager. Yeager, whom Hunter introduced as "the greatest pilot in the history of the world," was the first man to break the sound barrier. Link
I wrote about Yeager endorsing Hunter here. He has known Duncan for years because his son and Duncan played together as kids, and later joined the military together. Gen Yeager takes this shot at Rudy:
"It seems like everyone running for the White House thinks they can buy their way in. (But) you've got to have some talent. I hope people have enough sense to vote for Duncan Hunter, and not someone who couldn't even keep the streets of New York clean," Yeager said, taking a swipe at former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani during a speech Monday night at the Beacon Drive-In restaurant.
