The Richmond Democrat and The VBC

The Richmond Democrat is not happy with the Virginia Blog Carnival. I find it very amusing that the ones who complain are the same ones who do not promote or host the VBC. Lets take a look at ole JC Wilemore and his VBC record. In the comments he said he offered to host and in fact there is a post by him calling for submissions. The funny thing is that weeks carnival was hosted by One Mans Trash. The next day JC had this. I gave JC the benefit of the doubt but, I continued my search through his archives and found NO VBC was ever hosted by him. In the history of The Richmond Democrat blog he has linked to and promoted the VBC ONCE. In fact he submitted to the last carnival hosted by SWAC Girl and did not link the kind hostess in return. Please don't strain yourself promoting the carnival JC ....as you would like some to believe. Why are we having this problem with the VBC that Waldo and Chad started? The reason is lack of participation from JC's fellow lefty bloggers. They don't submit, and when they do, they wont link and promote-Just like JC. They will not host-Just like JC. Ohhh but they will bitch and complain. Get over it.

So JC has decided that instead of working to promote the VBC he will start his own carnival. JC must like playing with himself because he takes his ball and goes home. That is his right. In his comments he asks:

"Something about the VBC doesn't work. When something doesn't work, competition appears and people try to do better.
Are you against competition?"

What a joke. Please explain how the the same Virginia bloggers who submit to either or both carnivals compete? It is obvious that JC wants to divide instead of join bloggers together. Instead of working to promote the VBC he chooses to compete. I think JC missed the whole point of the VBC. I hope you work harder on your own carnival than you have promoting the long standing one Waldo and Chad started.
