Sad news this morning from West Virginia. Two miners were killed in a collapse at the Brooks Run mines. 35 other miners were not injured. The miners were pulling pillars-Retreat Mining is the proper term. The mine is owned by Virginia based Alpha Natural Resources. My thoughts and prayers are with the families.
