A Statement from Judge Chad Dotson

The news is all over the blogosphere. Today Wise County Commonwealth Attorney Chad Dotson was awarded a district Judgeship. Living in Wise County I have had the privilege of watching Chad's work in court. We also know the legend of his blog the Commonwealth Conservative. Judge Dotson has released this statement to Spark it Up.

"I am humbled by the responsibility given me today by the General Assembly. This is an opportunity and a challenge to make a difference by making decisions that shape the lives of others in my community, the community that I love. This is another area of public service, and I look forward to dedicating myself to being the best judge that I can be.

A judge should be impartial, compassionate, wise, and prepared. I will seek to live up to those ideals every single day."

There is no doubt he will live up to that standard. I applaud this man for all his hard work. He could have practiced law anywhere, but he chose to return to his home in Wise. Thank you for your service sir!
