Senate passes Immigration Bill
No sir, I don't like it. The WAPO has this.
The Senate yesterday approved legislation that would trigger the biggest changes to U.S. immigration policy in decades, by strengthening border security, establishing a guest-worker program, and providing the means for millions of illegal immigrants to stay in the country and possibly become citizens.
Sounds like the Senate Amnesty Bill to me. Jerry breaks it down here. I will keep this post short. This bill, like Senators Frist, McCain, and Warner, is flaccid. I hope the House adds some Viagra to this legislation. I applaud Sen Allen for not supporting this impotent bill.
