SB648- Up In Smoke
SB648 is history. Hats off the the committee who voted unanimously to kill the intrusive bill. The bill was sponsored by Republican Brandon Bell. I said this bill stinks a while back. So don't attack me with that "your a die hard republican" BS. I call it like I see it.
"I would agree people have a right not to breathe secondhand smoke," said Del. John A. Cosgrove, R-Chesapeake. "But that right is brought about by their feet. They have a right not to go somewhere where there is smoking. They have a right and a responsibility to take care of themselves." Link
This bill was intrusive to business owners. Any business can ban smoking right now if they choose. I still say if you don't like smoke, don't go were it is allowed. Spend your dollars elsewhere. End of story.
