Race Recap
The race is over and what can you say. Karma bites Tony Stewart in the butt. After his classless act at Daytona, Matt Kenseth wins the Auto Club 500. My driver Jeff Burton in the #31 fought off the reckless Jamie McMurray in the final laps to secure a 5th place finish. Jeff had followed McMurray for many laps, unable to pass because of the flowing hair gel from Jamie's car. That hair should be considered a weapon! Jamie ended up 6th. I suggested that when Kurt Bush won his title that his big ears gave him a aerodynamic advantage. Hair gel works the same way. It blows out onto windshields and the track. Nascar needs to look into that. Other drivers from the dark side that did not fair well today were Kevin Harvick( stop hisssssing) He finished 29th. Stewart ended up last, 43rd place. Kurt Bush was 16th, and Kyle Bush finished the best at 10th for the dark side. Clint Bowyer finished 14th and had a great race. I like this kid! Elliott Sadler finished a disappointing 23rd. The series is off next week and will return at Las Vegas on 3/12 for the UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400.
Brian Patton (who was seduced by the dark side, thus a Harvick fan) has this Nascar post.
Alton has a good post here also.
