Thomas Jones - Chicago Bears
The Bears recieve a first round bye by defeating the Packers Christmas night. Everybody knows I am a Chicago sports fan, a Bear fan. The Bears also are sending 6 players to the Pro Bowl. What is really cool is seeing Thomas Jones from Big Stone Gap, Virginia - have a great year on a good team. It is awesome to see a player from Wise County playing for a NFC champion team. Wait!! This has happened before. Carroll Dale from Wise did it more than once. A little history about Thomas Jones.

Now he is breaking records at Chicago and his 100 yrd games have carried the Bears to success this season. I dont think they can go all the way this year. I wish they could with the White Sox winning the Series and all, but I can't have everything. It is football and on any Sunday any team can win. My fingers are crossed! May the 2005 version of the Monsters of the Midway march on!
