Blogging-Old Dominion Blog Alliance numbers increase
After my timely post about the ODBA, things are looking up! We have added Too Conservative as I posted here.
We have also added James Young, who has the blog Skeptical Observor. James has a great blog and his bio reads:"James Young is a Staff Attorney with the National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation, in Springfield, Virginia, and is a nationally-recognized expert in labor and constitutional law in the context of individual rights." Welcome James.
Next we have Elephant Ears by the GOPHokie, " I am a 20 year old finance student at VT. I am an avid Hokie football fan and I also enjoy politics and the stock market." Welcome GOPHokie.
Below The Beltway is a great blog ran by Doug. Doug's profile can be found here. His intro states: "I'm a 37 year old attorney living in the Northern Virginia suburbs of Washington, DC. Those of you who know Washington know that it is surrounding by an eight-lane highway called the Beltway. My homestead is about 30 miles south of the Beltway, hence the admittedly unoriginal name for my blog, Below The Beltway" Welcome Doug.
Im Not Emeril is a blog by Alton Foley from Collinsville. My 10 readers know I dig his blog. Altons profile has this: "I am an Electrical Engineer for a small manufacturing firm in Stuart, VA. We are in the start-up phase, hoping to begin production in early October. I am a native of Henry County, but have only recently returned. I most recently lived and worked in the Coalfields of Virginia, Eastern Kentucky, and Southern W. Virginia. I lived in Hurley, VA and worked in Kimper, KY for a company whose products were electrical equipment for the mining industry, both underground and surface." Welcome Alton.
Long time favorite Jerry Fuhrman's Blog From on High "Wisdom from high atop Big Walker Mountain" rounds out the new additions. Jerry is one of the best and has been a daily read of mine for a while. Welcome Jerry.
This has been a good week for the ODBA. A very good week in fact. The talent added this week is powerful to say the least. Chad should be proud! I have a feeling this was all that was on his mind this weekend, as it should have been. Happy Birthday to your Princess.
