Jonathan Kirby Willis, 38, of Norton, died Thursday (July 7, 2005).
His grandparents, Owen Franklin and William Willis, and an aunt Nancy Willis preceded him in death.
Kirby was a much-loved son, brother and friend. He was charming, witty and had many skills and talents. Although the road he walked was rough at times he leaves behind many fond memories of good times.
Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Diane and Richard Rorrer, Duffield; father and stepmother, Steve and Linda Willis, Duffield; a sister and brother-in-law, April and Richard Sims, Dungannon; brother, Joshua Dru Willis, Duffield; daughters, Britany Shortridge, Coeburn, Taylor Spurrier, Rose Hill; grandmothers, Audrey Franklin, Weber City, Doris Willis, Norton; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles; special friend, Tonya Barker.
Funeral service were conducted at 8 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Scott Addison officiating. Graveside committal services were conducted Sunday in Powell Valley Memorial Gardens.
