But the Harrisonburg woman's endorsement of Jerry Kilgore may be just as powerful as those the gubernatorial candidate has received from elected GOP officials throughout the state. Shifflett-Fridley is a victim of domestic violence whose two daughters, ages 14 and 4, were killed in 1999 by the man who had abused her. The killer, Daniel Zirkle, was convicted of capital murder and executed in 2002."

This is a good read and another good endorsement for Jerry Kilgore.
