The 2nd term has begun. The speech was good and so was the music. A huge crowd was in attendance. Did the First Lady look AWESOME or what?? It could just be me, but I was blown away by her attire..Comments?

The advancement of liberty was the theme of the speech today.

"So it is the policy of the United States to seek and support the growth of democratic movements and institutions in every nation and culture, with the ultimate goal of ending tyranny in our world."

I will say that no other President in my lifetime has set a goal this high. This makes total sense to me because I agree with President Bush on the fact that free nations will not support terrorists. This must happen in order to fulfill this

"My most solemn duty is to protect this nation and its people against further attacks and emerging threats. Some have unwisely chosen to test America's resolve, and have found it firm."

Great speech that should make all Americans realize how good we have it, and why we should help all nations who want freedom.
