This morning my family and I were going to church and we had quite a surprise. As we started down Coeburn mountain there were three police cars and a ambulance. There beside the road lay a dead man. The police were making pictures of the face down body. He was laying below a high wall. I did not see any rocks around so I don’t think one fell and killed him. This was the first time Shannon had never seen anything like that , and she was shaken by the sight. I will not speculate as to what happened to this man but I will find out in the morning paper. We visited a new church today that my uncle attends. Church service was great and I really enjoyed the fellowship. We attended our church for evening service and the message was very powerful. Today was a day that started off strange, but the Lord provided answers and comfort.
IN THE NEWS: The Communist Party USA and The Democratic Socialists of America Political Action Committee are supporting John Kerry. I am not surprised. I am sure Bin Laden supports him too.
Congress this week will start drafting new laws to create a national intelligence director and counterterrorism center as recommended by the 9/11 commission. This is a great thing and I am glad they are quick to act on it. I do believe that sooner or later someone will cry it costs to much.
Lance Armstrong Wins Sixth Tour de France! What a athlete. He has beaten cancer and now is one of the greatest , if not the greatest, bikers in the world.
MOVING ON: MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, Ohio — After a man was found dead on a couch in a hospital lounge, a nurse told police that nobody had checked on him for at least 17 hours. He appeared to be asleep, the nurse said. Robert F. Johnson, 55, who had emphysema, was found Thursday at Southwest General Health Center, police said. It was not clear when he died.( Kansas City Star) Can you believe that? No one checked on him? What is wrong with people today? Our morals and ethics are going away. Pray for his wife Robin and his family. God Bless

Okay, yes the dead man on the side of the road did freak me out. More so than probably the average person that had grown up in Chicago first then moved down here. But, I also cannot get that image of him out of my head. (sort of defending myself here.) Just the thought of lying there DEAD and as you put it in the car... "he had already started turning blue"... isn't a way that I would want to go or anyone that I know. It's just a scary thought. Yes, I had seen gory things on tv, but that is tv, and not real life. I prayed yesterday in church and last night and several different times throughout the day for that man's soul and his family. I cannot imagine what had happened. It's just a spooky and scary thought.

The pastor at the morning services that we had went to was wonderfully inspiring. It is a bit off and with the cost of gas and with the truck being a gas guzzler as it is,... I regret that we cannot go there more often if not on a regular basis. Not that the pastor at the church isn't inspiring. Last night's service was great. Both services gave me something that I needed to hear at just the right moment. It's odd how the Lord works like that.

As for Kerry,... Think about it... Who would vote for someone that is being supported by the Communist party. It doesn't take much sense to realize there is something wrong with this picture.

And about the man that had died in the hospital waiting lounge... MY GOODNESS!!! I, personally, have been in several hospitals and have seen bad service and good service. But for someone to die in the waiting room such as that,... If they knew that he had been there to be seen... and had not been checked on for 17 hours.. then there is going to be a great stink within that hospital and with the Law. If I was the family... I would sue that hospital for not checking on my husband. He had apparently checked in, told them his problem, and died because of their incompentancy. They are going to have a serious problem on their hands and I would not want to be in their shoes.
