post a commentCarl, where was this photo taken? I can't place the monument? I see that one of the grave markers has a date at the end of April, 1865 but the Appomattox surrender occurred on April 9? Is this in Bentonville?

This is at the Hollywood Cem in Richmond. Over 18 thousand confederates are buried there. The pyramid is 80 foot tall...It is a powerful place to visit. Presidents Monroe and Tyler, and Jefferson Davis are there also.
Chris and I spent a few hours there...I will visit again.
