Jim Patrick - A Class Act
Jim lost by 16 votes. I think the voters may regret this in the future. Jim's conservative principles and record will be missed. His statement is here. He concludes with this:
"To my many supporters, a truly heartfelt ‘Thank you’. It was a very difficult and close race. You have shown incredible love and commitment to Shenandoah County, to doing what is best for her. Please keep that with you always."
A class act indeed.

post a commentJim is definitely a class act. I've met him on a couple of occasions (although I doubt he remembers me, I do know he knows my father pretty well).
He did a great job on the Board of Supervisors in my county. I think his replacement should do a good job as well, but Jim's ability to research and reason instead of simply react and respond was very refreshing in this era of knee-jerk politics.

Jim is a member of the ODBA and we met at the first Blogs United conference.
