Gov Tim Kaine's New View on the Abuser Fees - Crawfish Kaine

When it comes to the abuser fees, you can call him Crawfish Kaine. The WAPO has this:

On WTOP radio yesterday, he said: "I talked to the [House] leadership and said, "Look, I am willing to embrace a package that uses the fees to raise a little bit of the money, but we are not going to use it to raise a significant amount of money. "

Kaine is in an awkward position. While his Democratic colleagues in the House and Senate are trying to blame Republicans for insisting on the fees, the governor has stood by his role in crafting the compromise

You "EMBRACED" and signed the bill Governor. I think a lot of people are forgetting this little tidbit - Roscoe Reynolds (D) authored the senate version of the bill. He turned crawfish faster than Kaine. You can read about that here. Roscoe turned against the very bill he authored! That is amazing.

For a complete view of the Crawfish Kaine fiasco check out the Republican State Leadership Committee blog. Beep...Beep...Beep...Backing Up.
