Duncan Hunter takes the gloves off – Uppercuts Romney over Iraq plan
Duncan Hunter smacks down Romney and the secret surrender withdrawal B/S
"Romney is absolutely wrong in recommending a secret timetable," Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif., tells ABC News in a telephone interview while campaigning in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. "Secret timetables are bad because in the end they all become public and the enemy uses them to estimate the limit on America's endurance." (LINK)
Maybe we can put them on double secret probation also. They can make Iraq a partisan political quagmire if they want, but the bottom line is we cannot leave a unstable Iraq. If we do, we will be back there in a few years facing a much worse scenario than it is now.
"The key to a successful American exit from Iraq," said Hunter, "is the stand-up and deployment of the Iraqi military."
Indeed. That is one reason I like Duncan Hunter. He has challenged the President and now hits Romney over this issue. We must finish this mission or we will face it later. If we leave and fail to enable the Iraqi military to stand on its own the bloodbath of the Killing Fields will not even compare.
